Visiting Breckenridge is a scrumptious delight and the food scene is spectacular. Much like the never ending views. Tin Plate pizza is right up there with the very best of them. Ice cold beer, bread and churned butter, pizza that reminds you why you started liking it in the first place. Cause it is delicious! We jumped into the salad with such speed we forgot all about picture taking. Which, by the way, the salad was fresh, crunchy and yummy. Our server was one of the most polite and attentive that we have ever had the pleasure of encountering at any establishment, anywhere. Nice work Tin Plate, nice work!
Artisan pizza inside a historic miners cabin? Sign me up! Tin Plate is, in one word, **SPECTACULAR**. Easily a top 5 pizza I've ever eaten, and I've had pizza in several places across the country. The fermented sourdough crust really adds something to the pizza. It takes the basic crispy crust pizza and elevates it to something else. It heightens the flavors of the toppings, and is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. For my visit I stopped in for lunch around 1 PM. They have a prix fixe menu from 12-4, and it's a 3 course meal for $25. A stupendous value for Breckenridge. My choices were yuzu ceasar, fig and prosciutto pizza, and tiramisu. The salad was just okay, but boy oh boy did the fig and prosciutto pizza take my taste buds for a delicious ride. Hours later I'm still salavating at the thought of that pizza. My tiramisu was good too, but it was quickly forgotten from the revelation that was my entree. I washed down my meal with a draft Elevation Brewing IPA, which the citrus and hops paired very well with the sweet and savory pizza. Their draft selection is small, but is well chosen. If you visit Breck, do no miss this place. I will be back.
We were drawn to this place while on vacation specifically because of the high reviews. Needless to say we were so impressed with our first experience we went back again the next day and both times I would give 5 stars. Every single thing we tried was 5 stars. Pepperoni pizza, sausage pizza, shrimp appetizer, caesar salad, cucumber jalapeño margarita, espresso martini - EVERYTHING was to die for. We finished our meal with carrot cake and no bake cheesecake - also 5 stars. Service, food, drinks, atmosphere. Top notch.
We had the mushroom soup which was the best I’ve had! The pepperoni pizza was excellent. The sourdough crust was wonderful. We sat outside and enjoyed the view. Service was great. I would recommend Tin Plate Pizza.
Got you — here’s the same review but in a more natural, warm, Mike-style voice that sounds real and not stiff: ⸻ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were in town for the week and decided to try Tin Plate for lunch, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We got the lunch special, which comes with a salad, a pizza, and a dessert. Honestly it was a great deal for the quality and portions you get. I ordered the bacon chicken ranch pizza and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were on point, the crust was perfect, and you could tell everything was fresh. The salad was really good too, and the cookie for dessert was super fresh and tasted incredible. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. We were there with toddlers, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of. They brought over slices of fruit to hold them over while we waited and even gave them things to do so they wouldn’t get restless. They checked on us multiple times just to make sure the kids were good, that meant a lot. We loved it. The kids loved it. The food was great and the whole experience was even better. We will absolutely be back any time we’re in the area.
DON'T EAT ANYWHERE ELSE! I ate here twice during my visit to Breckenridge and the first meal was so enjoyable, I had to return! Rarely have I seen a restaurant that cared so much about the guest experience. I met Owner James and GM Drisana and they're exemplary perfectionist leaders!. When you get your meal, you'll see what I mean - everything was terrific! Thoroughly enjoyed the sausage pizza and the chicken+bacon+ranch pizzas, in fact, have never had better! Best Old Fashioned I've had in a long time too. If you've never had sourdough crust pizza, you're missing out on something special. Tin Plate Pizza is a "don't miss" kind of experience and I'll be back again soon! Thanks for the memories!
Beautiful 137+ former Gold Assayer's home turned into a magnificent pizza and bar. And what a pizza it is! There specialty pizza are all made with 72hr sourdough starter, and their toppings are locally sourced and made. My server Danielle was attentive and knew everything about everything on the menu. The mushroom soup was delicious. Smooth texture and excellent flavor. Again, the pizza is amazing! And the tiramisu is all house made, down to the homemade ladyfingers. When in Breckenridge, this IS the pizza place to try.
The pizzas were delicious! Super soft and delicious dough and no grease or burnt parts underneath. The salad was super refreshing. For sure will be coming back!
The food is incredible & I love the specialty cocktail menu! There's such a great selection of options for everyone and everything tastes amazing. Service is especially fantastic; Drisana was phenomenal. Super helpful, friendly, & fun to talk to. Strongly recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere truly exceptional in food, atmosphere, & service.
Fantastic spot in Breck for pizza, amongst other great food options! The vibe inside is incredible with a dimly lit, cozy atmosphere. There is a bar as well with plenty of seats as well. We enjoyed the mushroom soup, which was incredible! For pizza, we enjoyed the margherita, fig & prosciutto, and a pepperoni pizza with sausage added. All pizzas come in 12” size and they were incredible! Perfect crust with just the right amount of sauce and great flavor overall. Service was phenomenal and our server Diana was so welcoming and attentive the entire time. We had a great time at Tin Plate and highly recommend it if you’re in the area!
